Carrie is a full time Savannah Landscape Photographer.

 Savannah has been home for her and husband Ed for over 24 years. She is originally from Linton, Indiana and attended college graduating with a degree in Laboratory Technology. She worked in the medical field for over 18 years. She studied and learned photography from the towns local photographer. There wasn’t a big demand for landscape photography in her small town, so she laid down the camera and pursued her career in the laboratory. Being able to retire from the laboratory she started a new hobby of painting, Needing reference pictures for her painting she picked up her camera and started shooting again and rediscovered her love for photography.

Carrie’s work has received much recognition. She has received awards from the Landings Art Association shows, Coast Week Photography show and the Savannah Art Association.

Her first published pictures were released in June of 2002 in the coffee table book titled "Savannah Georgia and the Low Country". Carrie work placed in the top 7% in the Photographer’s Forum magazine contest, and was published in their yearly hardback annual titled, The Best of Photography Annual. Her work was published in the Savannah Magazine’s annual contest .  The Skinnie Magazine featured her photograph"Berry Nice" for its December 2005 cover.  Three of her large framed Black and white pictures where juried into the 2010 Telfair Museum Art show.

She is a member of the Landings Art Association and the Savannah Art Association and the Telfair Museum. 

 June of 2006 Carrie work was juried into Gallery 11 in City Market and for the past 4 years she has  been the gallery manager. 

In January 2008 she became a partner in Gallery 209 located at 209 East Rivers Street and has served as a board member for the last 3 years.

Mid April 2011 Carrie will be opening her own Gallery in Studio 3 (West end Upstairs in City Market).

 I have been very blessed to be able to do something that I love and I get great joy when I see other people enjoying my work.
